What started out as a creative outlet in college has turned into a lifelong passion for Matthew. Capturing couples’ unique love stories in a moving narrative is the art he’s compelled to create everyday. His journey into wedding videography is a personal one that started after he and his wife struggled to find the right videographer for their own wedding. After combing through the portfolios of photographers and videographers and finding few people of color, he set out to use the lens to represent diverse couples and families and capture their story.
Matthew delights in going above and beyond for his clients, getting to know his couples on a personal level before the big day and even doing little things like live streaming the wedding so other family members who can’t attend can feel like they're right there in the action.

His passion for videography stems from the interplay of motion and emotion–windows into humanity that photography simply can’t capture. He’s drawn to videography for its ability to reveal layers upon layers of a couple’s love story, creating an immersive experience.
With 12 years of experience as a paramedic prior to wedding videography, he brings quick thinking and on-the-spot creative problem solving to the job. Helping patients from all walks of life has armed him with a deep sense of empathy and a fascination with humanity, skills that he brings with him to every wedding video.
