I purchased my first camera out of a desire for a creative outlet and to change the fact that there was a lack of diversity in photographs and in the ones taking the photos. Now I am being featured by Voyage Dallas in their Thought-Provokers series to celebrate Artists & Creatives! It’s an amazing feeling to be acknowledged and appreciated (not in a prideful way) for my work and the narrative I am aiming to create through photography and videography.
